Should school stay closed, we'll be creating Chessboards at art camp next week!

I'm so excited to offer this program once again.   Next week should British Columbia schools stay closed, I will be running an all day camp where campers will be creating their very own Chessboards!

They will concept a theme of their choosing and then work out the design of all the playing pieces which will be sculpted from clay.

Once finished, they will paint their pieces in contrasting colors of their choice.

And then finish with creating a wooden game board for their pieces to call home.  This is truly a priceless keepsake students will cherish for many years to come as they have fun playing family and friends on something they created all on their own.

Camp will run Monday through Thursday from 9am-3pm.  The cost is $200.00 with a 20% discount for siblings.  Space is very limited due to the complexity of the project.  Call 604-971-1147 to register.  It's sure to be a very fun week in the studio.  I'm really looking forward to it.
